A Health Screening and Street Ministry unit, operated by Steve North of Lifeline Toledo, a Toledo, Ohio ministry.
This unit is used to minister to the homeless and the poor. The back of the unit serves as a medical examination room and is staffed by volunteer doctors and/or nurses to do health screenings for diabetes, HIV and more. It is equipped with an examination table and storage cabinets for test kits and other medical supplies and equipment. The front of the unit is mostly open and can be staged with folding chairs in various configurations for a health education classes, a waiting area or whatever is appropriate at the given time.
