BUSES International takes the safety and security of our Mission Teams very seriously. Several unfortunate situations in Mexico and US/Mexico border towns, including the H1N1 (Swine Flu) Virus, the escalating conflict with the drug cartel and the increased presence of the Mexican Army, have created an uncertain atmosphere in our normal mission-trip destinations.
Because of these situations, some of the BUSES International staff made a special trip to Mexico (in early 2009) to see things for ourselves. What we found was a volitile and potentially unsafe environment.
We continued to monitor the sitation and communicate with our contacts in Mexico and hoped to schedule a Mission Trip during the Summer of 2010. At this time, these plans have been put on hold.
The need in Mexico still remains great and prayer is the only answer to these conflicts! We ask that you would agree with us and pray for Mexico and that He would bring a peaceful resolution to these situations. Thank you for your agreement and your partnership with us!
We thank you for your continued interest in this area of our ministry.
BUSES International's Mission Trip Division, U-Go International, offers several short-term mission trips per year. These trip are designed to minister to the poor in lesser developed countries and to provide goods and services to those in need.
These trips are one-of-a kind and provide a unique, life-changing and affordable missions experience to anyone with a desire to do missionary work. Participants can experience first-hand what it is like to minister directly to those in need and get a small taste of real missionary work.
Some of our mission activities include, washing and cutting hair, bathing babies, giving away food and clean water, giving away clothing and shoes, providing basic toiletry items and providing basic dental care.
"So wherever YOU GO in the world, tell everyone the Good News."
